We are proud to partner with Franklin Edwards, founder of Franklin the Helper Children’s Books, LLC, as both our exclusive motivational speaker and community partner for the SCBC 50/50 Raffle Fundraiser.

Franklin is a prolific author who has written and published over 20 books. His works include children’s titles that teach resilience and kindness—such as Just Be Yourself, Bullies Made David Cry, The Color of My Skin Doesn’t Blend In, and It’s OK to Stutter—as well as poetry collections for mature readers that explore faith, life, and personal growth.

In addition to his own writing, Franklin has helped more than 30 first-time authors publish their books, giving new voices a platform to be heard. His mission is clear: to spread faith-filled, uplifting messages that inspire readers of all ages to walk in courage, empathy, and love.

As a motivational speaker, Franklin connects with students through school visits, book fairs, and writing workshops, addressing bullying directly while encouraging young people to discover their own potential. As SCBC’s community partner, he also donates signed poetry books to winners of the 50/50 raffle—blending literature, empowerment, and community impact.
